PURPOSE: A method and a device for cooling a generator are provided to point a first part of cooling fluid flow to a flange and a second part of cooling fluid flow to a end stator as a baffle comprises inclined surfaces. CONSTITUTION: A device for cooling a generator comprises a baffle. The baffle comprises a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface. The first inclined surface points a first part of cooling fluid flow(26) to a flange(18). The first inclined surface points a second part of the cooling fluid flow to an end stator. The second inclined surface points a third part of the first part of the cooling fluid flow to an inclined surface of the flange.
