PURPOSE: An international character message service method for transmitting an international character message to a transmitter through a personal computer is provided to increase the used amount of the international character message. CONSTITUTION: An oversea transmitter connects through a personal computer(11) to an international server(12). The oversea transmitter writes out an SMS(Short Message Service) message. The oversea transmitter transmits the letters message to a portable terminal(14) of the domestic reception person. The server of a communications service provider transmits the letters message to the portable terminal. The server of a communications service provider transmits the letters message through the internet network to the international server.
