PURPOSE: A disc for a butterfly valve is provided to increase service life of a rotary shaft, which is a valve operator, by protecting an elastic ring. CONSTITUTION: A disc(100) for a butterfly valve comprises a body(70), a close adhesion end(110), and an elastic ring(50). The close adhesion end is formed on the circular rim end of the disc. The two spherical surfaces of different diameters are connected to the close adhesion end. The close adhesion end is compressed and inserted into the close adhesion end. The corner of the edge of the close adhesion end rotates during the operation of ht disc.
