METHOD AND APPRATUS FOR COLLECTING BOOK INFORMATION

PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for collecting book information are provided to shorten time and cost taken for a manual working process by automating manual works. CONSTITUTION: A new book category webpage information is requested and received for each list page of a new book category. Based on URR information of the book detail page, the detail webpage information is requested/received from/to a certain site(S136,S138). The received new book detail webpage information is compared with the detail pattern information to extract book information(S142). A non-collected ISBN(International Standard Book Number) is received from the book information providing server, and is configured as the URR information of the new detail webpage(S144).
