PURPOSE: Input/Output interface and a method for transmitting Input/Output data are provided to reduce switching current during a data Input/Output operation by adjusting the number of data bits to which logic state is transited to be less than the number of reference data bits. CONSTITUTION: A data encoder(110) generates encoding data by respectively encording a plurality of parallel data which has time differences. An AC coupling transmit unit(130) transmits encoding data with an AC coupling method. The data encoder compares each bit of a first parallel data and a second parallel data among a plurality of parallel data(PDATA1 to PDATAn). The data encoder obtains the number of bits to which logic state is transited between the first parallel data and the second parallel data. The data encoder generates an encoding flag. The data encoder generates the encoding data by maintaining the bit value of the second parallel data and sets the encoding flag with a first logic state.
