APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR MEASURING BLOOD PRESURE

PURPOSE: A portable apparatus and a method are provided to measure exact blood pressure by maintaining a right posture of an examinee through a tilt sensor. CONSTITUTION: A blood pressure measuring apparatus comprises a slope measuring unit(20), a bio-signal measurement unit, and a central processing unit(60). The slope measuring unit comprises an inclination sensor. The slope measuring unit measures the slope of the blood pressure measuring apparatus by using the sensing signal of the inclination sensor. The bio-signal measurement unit measures an electrocardiogram and a pulse wave. The central processing unit predicts a posture of an examinee. The central processing unit compares a sensed posture with a reference posture. The central processing unit measures the blood pressure of the examinee.
