Provided is a turbine rotor which can sustain the strength at a joint even if an Ni-based alloy and a heat-resistant steel material such as 12Cr steel are joined by welding, and can be employed even under steam conditions on the order of 700°C, and also provided is a method for manufacturing same. The rotor of a rotary machine, into which working fluid of 650°C or above is introduced, is constituted by joining by welding a plurality of members having strengths that differ according to the temperature of the passing working fluid. The rotor of a rotary machine is constituted by joining by welding a first member consisting of an Ni-based alloy having an average coefficient of linear expansion of 12.4x10/°C-14.5x10/°C, preferably 14.0x10/°C or less, at room temperature to 700°C, and a second member consisting of high chromium steel, wherein the first member consists of an N- based alloy at the part thereof touching the working fluid of 650°C or above. |
