PURPOSE: A display apparatus and a control method thereof are provided to use a video call service without purchasing and connecting a separate device using a mobile communication terminal. CONSTITUTION: A display apparatus and a control method thereof include an image processing unit(102), a display unit(103), a connecting unit(106), and a controller(107). The image processing unit processes the first image. The display unit displays the first image. A controller processes the second image of a video call to control the image processing unit and control a mobile communication terminal.
