PURPOSE: A pavement member for bridge expansion, and a method for expanding a bridge using the same are provided to remarkably reduce the construction period and costs, and to easily expand a bridge by installing a support bracket. CONSTITUTION: A pavement member for bridge expansion comprises a support bracket, steel pipes(200), a support plate, a haunch unit, a pair of fixtures, and a fixing plate. One side of the support bracket is fixed to curb stone(S), and the other side has a free end. Multiple through holes are formed in the support bracket. The steel pipes are inserted into the through holes of the support bracket. The support plate is welded in one side of an upper plate supporter. One side of the haunch unit is welded in the upper plate supporter, and the other side is weld in the support plate. The fixtures are inserted into both sides of the support plate, and welded. The fixing plate is inserted into one side of the fixtures. |
