PURPOSE: A method for controlling operation pattern of a booster pump system is provided to improve the quality of feed water by minimizing the repetition of frequent starting/stopping. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling operation pattern of a booster pump system comprises following steps. Whether an operation pattern control function is activated or not is determined(202). An order value is outputted by controlling error and whether the outputted order value is minimum or maximum is determined. When the outputted order value is maximum, the additional starting and the additional stopping of a pump and whether discharge pressure is higher than preset operation pressure after counting consecutive operation delay time.
