PURPOSE: An intermediate shaft assembly for a vehicle is provided to efficiently manage sliding power between an inner shaft and an outer shaft within a design value range by managing the protrusion of a plate. CONSTITUTION: An intermediate shaft assembly for a vehicle comprises an outer shaft(1), an inner shaft(2), a plate(3), and a bearing member(4). A hole is formed longitudinally to the outer shaft. The inner shaft is inserted into the hole of the outer shaft. The plate is contacted with the inner shaft. The bearing member is located between the plate and the outer shaft. The bearing member is contacted with the outer shaft and the plate. The plate comprises a base plate and a protrusion(32) connected to the base plate. The protrusion is formed into a groove formed on the outer wall of the inner shaft.
