PURPOSE: A chip for elastic floor material and a method for constructing the elastic floor material using the same are provided to express various colors by adding a desired color pigment to terra alba and to obtain environment-friendly properties using the terra alba generating far infrared rays. CONSTITUTION: A chip for elastic floor material comprises: 220~260 parts by weight of terra alba, 18~22 parts by weight of natural resin rosin; 18~22 parts by weight of plant oil; 5~5 parts by weight of cross-linking agent, 2.5~15 parts by weight of cross-inking promoter; 5~15 parts by weight of anti-aging agent; and 5~10 parts by weight of a pigment to 100 parts by weight of EPDM synthetic rubber. The plant oil is palm oil, coconut oil, castor oil, raisin seed oil, jojoba oil, safflower oil, macadamia notch oil, or olive seed oil.
