PURPOSE: A ventilation/firefighting system through piping and a control method thereof are provided to ensure smooth ventilation by effectively discharging polluted indoor air. CONSTITUTION: A ventilation/firefighting system through piping comprises an inlet pipe(5), a middle pipe(6), and a pipe joint member(12). The inlet pipe is installed within the exterior wall and ceiling of a building or housing. A mesh cap(3) of cup shape is detachably connected to one end of the inlet pipe and an air purifier case is installed on the other. The middle pipe is connected to the end of the inlet pipe and extended to the desired position in the ceiling to feed air or firefighting water. The pipe joint member is connected to the middle pipe on one side and fitted with a first and a second pipe joint case(14A,14B) of rectangular plate shape on the other.
