The device (1) has mechanical units (4) for transformation of manual mechanical actions manually applied by an operator into mechanical assembling actions for assembling a fluid reservoir on a fluid circuit element. A limitation unit (8) limits intensity of the mechanical assembling actions. A lever (13) receives the manual mechanical actions manually applied by the operator. A maintaining and positioning unit (7) positions the fluid reservoir on the fluid circuit element. An independent claim is also included for a method for assembling a fluid reservoir on a fluid circuit element.
