FIELD: chemistry. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention is meant for electrochemical treatment of water. The device has a metallic housing - cathode. Inside the housing there is a holder having a head on the outer surface of which there is at least one electrode - anode. The anode is made in form of aluminium alloy plates. The holder is placed inside the housing such that at least one channel is formed between the surface of the anode and the surface of the housing. Below the housing there is a device for inlet of water to undergo treatment and above the housing there is a device for outlet of treated water. ^ EFFECT: device is easy to manufacture, easy to use and requires small amount of consumable material. ^ 7 cl, 6 dwg
