FIELD: railway construction. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed unit comprises bearing frame furnished with vertical guides to accommodate unit housing moving therein. Said housing has drive camshaft rigidly attached thereto and bell cranks pivoted thereon. One ram of every bell crank is coupled with said camshaft with the help of connecting element fitted on the lever. Said connecting element represents a tie rod or a drive cylinder. Cylinder rod can be locked relative to cylinder. Another arm of bell crank support ballast compacting striker representing a rod. Lower end of the latter represents a rod with its lower end making a sealing blade with tamping plate fixed thereon. ^ EFFECT: intensified effects on ballast, simplified design. ^ 2 cl, 1 dwg |
