FIELD: heating systems, drying. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices for cooling and drying the items produced during extrusion of polymeric materials, and can be used in chemical, food, construction and other industries. Items cooling and drying device includes frame, housing inside which on drums and support rolls there installed is mesh belt of conveyor, fans and drive. On frame between branches of mesh belt of conveyor and support rolls there arranged are heat exchangers. Heat exchangers are installed at the distance from working branch of conveyor belt, which is equal to 0.5Ç0.9 of drum diametre. Heat exchangers are made of tubes in the form of coils or of tubular electric heaters. On surface of heat exchangers there fixed are rectangular-shaped plates made from heat-conducting material, e.g. aluminium or copper. Plates are located perpendicular to heat exchanger axis and installed relative to each other with a gap of 3 mm to 50 mm. ^ EFFECT: improving quality of products made from temperature sensitive materials of porous structure, as well as increasing device capacity. ^ 5 cl, 2 dwg |
