FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, more specifically to oncology and can be used in the extended operative interventions of thyroid gland and trachea when a malignant tumour extends to the adjacent organs and closely connected thereto. Substance of the technique consists that after removal of the malignant tumour, the formed fenestration of anterolateral tracheal wall is closed with a polypropylene mash laid on the perimetre with overlapping the healthy tissues on width 0.7-1.0 cm and lined to tracheal adventitia with interrupted sutures. From above, it is covered with a mobilised part of split nodding muscle. Further, the wound is closed tightly layer-by-layer. ^ EFFECT: application of said invention allows for one-stage removal of tumour formation with restoring tracheal integrity; avoiding formation of cicatricial tracheal stenoses; providing possibility to perform a complex of medical exposures involved in at the combination therapy; recovering natural functions of trachea; improving life quality of the patients. ^ 1 ex
