FIELD: railway transport. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed invention comprises receiving IR-radiation by receivers oriented perpendicular to track axis towards wheel hub motion and IR-radiation from wheel elements heated by braking forces. It comprises also isolating thermal signal fragments, within gating pulse from wheel pair pass pickup in preset time interval whereat one wheel pair wheel disk and hub are scanned. It also includes generating alarm signal on availability of braked wheel pair if measured thermal signal values of one wheel pair differs by more than two times and there are no indications of brakes actuation, which is judged upon from the results of wheel pair speed in control zone limited by two surface pickups. Deceleration exceeding preset value, alarm signaling of train stop for brakes check is interlocked to generate "braking in check zone" character. ^ EFFECT: higher validity of control, reduced number of traffic delays. ^ 2 cl |
