FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: there are offered: application of 6-[3-(1-adamantyl)-4-methoxyphenyl]-2-naphthoic acid (adapalene) or its salts for making a pharmaceutical composition used for treating inflammatory or proliferative dermatological diseases chosen from common acne, comedo polymorphic acne, nodulocystic acne, acne conglobata, secondary acne, including solar, drug or professional acne, extensive and/or severe psoriasis, ichthyosis and ichthyosis conditions, Darier's disease, palmoplantar keratoderma, White's disease and post-inflammatory pigmentation.
