FIELD: personal use articles. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed method for manufacture of decorative trimmings on clothing articles includes elaboration of a clothing article model with a decorative trimming location, fabrication of detail templates, selection and cutout of material. One elaborates a kind of a clothing article complex decorative trimming consisting of an N number of elements of carried shape and size fabricated of thermomelting textile materials of an M number of colours. One performs cutout of decorative trimming combined with simultaneous cut treatment, the material melting temperature being 100-120C. The decorative trimming elements are joined to each other with an overlaid seam on the frontface, shaping an integrated detail of complex decorative trimming consisting of mosaic elements. Stitch-attached to the joint seams (seam to seam on the frontface) is a relief element represented by a non-translucent synthetic three-dimensional cord; alternatively a relief element represented by a cord is laid as glue-bonded. The decorative trimming detail shape is more definitely defined against the template. Applied to the edges of a prepared decorative trimming detail is a skewed fringing binder to finally produce a finished complex decorative trimming imitating stained glass. ^ EFFECT: invention enables extension of the available range of decorative trimming and clothing articles with decorative trimming of varied assortment and design. ^ 4 cl, 3 dwg |
