FIELD: heating systems. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to lining of carbothermic reduction furnace intended for aluminium production. Internal lining of steel casing of carbothermic reduction furnace intended for aluminium production includes base graphite layer and refractory coating layer. Refractory is corundum (Al2O3) fixed with sialon (Si-Al-O-N). There also described is manufacturing method of this refractory. ^ EFFECT: refractory provides protection against molten slag and is not subject to impact of furnace atmosphere saturated with CO, does not contaminate molten metal and provides effective heat dissipation in case of power failure. ^ 14 cl, 3 dwg |
