FIELD: physics. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to microwave engineering. According to the invention, the bandpass filter has an earthed metal casing in which there is a half-wave resonator open at both ends which is made in form of a continuous hollow conductor, and quarter-wave input and output elements open at one end and electromagnetically connected to corresponding resonator halves, as well as input and output transmission lines. The end of the output element is connected to the beginning of the output transmission line by a short piece of the connecting transmission line passing through an opening at the centre of the lateral surface of the resonator. The resonator completely shields the input and output elements from the filter housing. Relative dielectric constant inside the resonator is 2.25 times greater than the relative dielectric constant of the material outside the resonator. The output end of the output element is connected to the output transmission line. ^ EFFECT: double gain in value of linear dimensions of the filter in printed circuit board implementation with low level of dissipative losses. ^ 11 dwg |
