Method for converting a video signal for flicker compensation, and associated conversion device

The method involves calculating a luminance of a point of a current frame of a video signal by weight sum of luminance of a point of a current frame of another video signal and a luminance of a point of a memorized frame. The latter luminance of point of current frame of the latter video signal is memorized. The calculation process is repeated for points of the current frame of the former video signal, and the memorization processes is repeated for points of the current frame of the latter video signal. An independent claim is also included for a device for converting video signals.
