PURPOSE: Ionic liquid having polar/non-polar solvent miscibility and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce manufacturing cost, and offer superior usability as a phase transfer catalyst. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of ionic liquid having polar/non-polar solvent miscibility comprises the following steps of: manufacturing a compound containing cation; generating a hydroxyl compound by exchanging an anion in the cation containing compound; and neutralizing the hydroxyl compound to unsaturated acid.
