PURPOSE: A touch sensing apparatus and an electronic device connected to the touch sensing apparatus are provided to reduce power that a host processor consumes because the host processor doesn't have to continuously maintain idle mode. CONSTITUTION: A touch sensing apparatus(100) connected to a host processor(135) of an electronic device(130) includes a touch panel and a touch sensing unit. A change of an electric signal occurs due to a touch of a touch panel(120). A touch sensing unit(110) senses the change of the electric signal and transmits it to the host processor. The touch sensing unit is based on an operation state or a change of an electric signal of the host processor.
