A holding device has an introduction tube insertable into a body cavity, a long body for operation inserted into the introduction tube in an advanceable and retractable manner, and a clip detachably fitted to the distal end of the introduction tube and deployed in the body after being operated so that organic tissue is held by the operating long body. The clip has holding claws for holding the organic tissue when operated and moved by the long body at least in the direction in which the claws are closed, and the clip also has a drawing part for drawing a part of the organic tissue into between the holding claws. |
