PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for manufacturing a lighting lamp cover are provided to improve an appearance of a lighting lamp cover by manufacturing an edge of a lighting lamp cover with various patterns. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for manufacturing a lighting lamp cover includes an edge top mold(10), a rotation mold(40), and a driving part(50). The edge top mold has a doughnut shape. Intaglio for determining an edge pattern of a forming glass is formed in a bottom surface of the edge top mold. The rotation mold includes an edge bottom mold(20) and a main body part(30). Intaglio corresponding to the intaglio of the edge top mold is formed in the edge bottom mold. The edge bottom mold is coupled with the edge top mold. The driving part rotates the rotation mold.
