The present invention relates to a motor vehicle seat 4 with a seat back (28, fig 1) which can be tilted from a substantially upright use position into a substantially horizontal non-use position, wherein the seat back has at least one wing-rest 36, 38 which, in the non-use position of the seat back, can be tilted about a tilting axis 48 extending in seat direction 16 from a lower armrest non-use position into an upper armrest use position for forming an armrest. According to the invention, the wing-rest is preloaded into the armrest use position. The present invention relates further to a seat arrangement with such a motor vehicle seat. The wing-rest may be lockable in the armrest non-use position against the preload. A hinge mechanism may be provided between a middle seat back member and the wing-rest whereby the hinge mechanism may be a strap hinge. The seat arrangement may comprise a second and third seat 22, 24 wherein the second and third seats are displaceable in a transverse direction. |
