A tie strip 1 comprising a strip 1 of material having teeth 2 on at least one face thereof wherein along the length of the strip 1 there is provided a plurality of apertures each covered by a flap 3. Each aperture is preferably covered by two flaps 3, and both faces of the strip 1 are provided with teeth 2. Each flap 3 may carry a hinge 5 to allow it to articulate in and out of the plane of the strip 1. The end 12 of the tie strip 1 may be inserted into the aperture from either direction. |
