PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for confirming a vehicle location are provided to easily grasp the location of a self-car through the flash of the hazard lamp. CONSTITUTION: A receiver is embedded in the self-car location detecting system. A BCM(Body Control Module)(200) for the lamp control outputs the hazard relay control signal by receiving location confirm request signal. A hazard relay(400) switches a hazard lamp(500) to be operated according to the hazard relay control. An electronic control unit(300) operates a wiper(700) when the hazard relay control is received.
