PARALLEL OPERATION OF INTERLEAVED SWITCHING CONVERTER CIRCUIT

PURPOSE: A parallel connected switching converter using charge sharing is provided to operate all parallel connected converters with a DCM(Discontinuous Conduction Mode). CONSTITUTION: A parallel connected switching converter includes a first switching control part(140), a synchronization signal generating part, and a second switching control part(240). The first switching control part generates a first switching control signal for controlling turn-on/turn-off of a first converter(100). The synchronization signal generating part includes a first capacitor and a second capacitor. The synchronization signal generating part conducts the first capacitor and the second capacitor according to the first switching control signal of the first switching control part. The synchronization signal generating part controls a voltage of the first capacitor through charge sharing between the first capacitor and the second capacitor. The synchronization signal generating part generates a synchronization signal having a fixed phase difference synchronized with the first switching control signal through the voltage of the first capacitor. The second switching control part generates a second switching control signal according to the synchronization signal generated in the synchronization signal generating part. The second switching control part controls turn-on/turn-off of a second converter.
