<p>The apparatus comprises a sensor device for detecting a current rotational position of the body of the person about the longitudinal axis of the body, an actuator device for supplying a predetermined stimulus pattern to the body, and an operating unit (BE) with a selection device for selecting one desired or prohibited rotational position of the body of the person about the longitudinal axis of the body. A comparator device is provided for comparing the current rotational position and a desired or a prohibited rotational position and emitting a corresponding position signal.
