Disclosed are a uniform and excellently stable slurry for electrodes, an electrode having uniform thickness and density, and a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery which is suppressed in variations in battery characteristics. Specifically disclosed is a binder composition used for production of nonaqueous electrolyte secondary batteries, which is characterized in that it is obtained by dissolving or dispersing a polymer for binding active materials in an organic solvent or water, and that the total content of monomers and oligomers is not more than 300 ppm. A slurry for electrodes is produced by using such a binder composition. |
