PURPOSE: A system and a method for providing a service per a computer model are provided to supply an optimum service to a user without individually memorizing a computer model name. CONSTITUTION: A system for providing a service per a computer model includes a PC model name database(210), a PC service information database(220), and a service providing server(200). In the PC model name database, hardware information, hardware specification information and importance of hardware are built in a database per a PC. Service information which can be provided per a PC is built in a database in the PC service information database. The service providing server receives hardware information and hardware specification information from a user PC(100). The service providing server determines a model of a PC by comparing information stored in a database per a PC model with the received information. The service providing server provides a suitable service according to PC model determination. |
