Encodable motor connector

The coupling (4) has a plug-in coupling housing (8) comprising electrically conductive passage elements (10, 12) corresponding to electrical connecting lines. The connecting lines are connected to a plug contact of a connector plug by the passage elements. The connector plug is attached to a crankcase of a multi-phase motor. A coding region is separated from a connection region. A mode of operation of the motor is defined in triangle or star-connection by the coding region using an internal bridge configuration, which is designed as plug-in connection of the passage elements.
