METHOD OF PROTOCOL CONVERSION FOR SHIP MANEUVERING SIMULATOR

PURPOSE: A method for converting protocol of a ship maneuvering simulator is provided to interface with a navigation system by converting the navigation data into NMEA(National marine Electronics Association) sentence data according IEC61162. CONSTITUTION: The data about a maneuver characteristic of a ship is transmitted from a communication server to a ship maneuvering simulator(S110). The data is converted into NMEA sentence data according to IEC61162 in the ship maneuvering simulator(S120). The converted NMEA sentence data is transmitted to the communication server of the navigation system(S130). A simulation content is applied to the navigation system(S140).
