PURPOSE: A light source device including a light emitting diode is provided to perform AC power drive of high efficiency and high quality. CONSTITUTION: A light source device includes at least one light emitting diode(403), an AC power(401), a bridge diode(404), and at least one capacitor(402a,402b). The AC power supplies an AC voltage to the light emitting diode. One end of the bridge diode is connected to the AC power. The other end of the bridge diode is connected to the light emitting diode. The bridge diode controls a flow of a current from the AC power to the light emitting diode. The capacitor is serially connected between the other end of the bridge diode and the AC power. The capacitor controls a flow of a current from the AC power to the bridge diode.
