<p>A method and system for managing rights object (RO) of contents is disclosed that can provide a temporary RO for a network-based particular event and can control the expiration of the temporary RO. The method is performed as follows. A master device receives an acceptance message corresponding to an event invitation message from at least one slave device. The master device requests authentication for performing an event, together with the slave device, from a rights issuer (RI). The RI transmits a temporary RO for authenticating the event performance to the slave device. The event is performed by the slave device and the master device, according to the temporary RO. The slave device terminates the temporary RO when the event has been completely performed.</p> |
