CONSTITUTION: A pulling device for reducing the diameter of a metal pipe with step height in the external diameter comprises a dice(1), a plug, a chuck(14), an LM guide, and a ball bush set and a ball screw shaft. The dice is formed by gradually reducing the inner diameter from an inlet side to an outlet side. The plug has an outer shape corresponding to the inner diameter shape of the dice. The chuck chucks the front end of the pipe having reduced diameter passed through the dice. An LM guide guides the plate. The plate comprises the chuck. The ball bush set and the ball screw shaft transfers the plate along the LM guide.
