PURPOSE: An apparatus for testing a TPMS sensor unit in consideration of real running environment and a method for testing a TPMS sensor using the same are provided to measure the operation of the TPMS sensor unit due to tire puncture as the TPMS sensor unit stops air supply while a wheel unit rotates at constant speed. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for testing a TPMS sensor unit in consideration of real running environment comprises a wheel unit, a sensor unit, a TPMS sensor unit, and a control unit. The wheel unit(102) is arranged along the peripheral direction around a rotary shaft and rotates at constant speed. The sensor unit(104,105) measures pressure and temperature of the wheel unit and transmits the result through a wire. The TPMS sensor unit(103) measures the pressure and the temperature within the wheel unit and wirelessly transmits the result. The control unit(150) determines the normal operation of the TPMS sensor unit based on the pressure and temperature transmitted from the sensor unit and the TPMS sensor unit.
