PURPOSE: A rotary engine is provided to remove vibration and noise even in case of increasing air compressing rate as a rotor rotates in a housing and to facilitate maintenance of sealing and lubrication-cooling. CONSTITUTION: A rotary engine comprises a housing(1), a side housing, an eccentric rotor(4), an outer-race(6), a core hole(7), a lubricating oil chamber(9), a semicircular roll(12,12'), and an air passage(13) and a combustion chamber(14). A circular operating space is formed within the housing. An output axis(3) is fixed in the core hole of the side housing. A horizontal hole(5') is installed in the eccentric rotor. A ceiling(17) is inserted into the outer-race. A block(8) in which the circular core hole is punched is formed. An oiling hole stopper(9') is inserted into the lubricating oil chamber. Legs(10,10') and grooves(11,11') are formed in the semicircular roll.
