A PRESSURE CONTAINER LINER WITH TRANSFORMED THICKNESS AND THE FORMING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A pressure container liner with transformed thickness and a forming method thereof are provided to improve precision and processing clearance in processing the end of a container. CONSTITUTION: A pressure container liner with transformed thickness comprises a cylinder part, a dome part and an inlet part. The cylinder part has a surface structure additionally compacted by a flow forming roll. The dome part and the inlet part are positioned at one side or both sides of the cylinder part. The dome part and the inlet part have a surface and an inner structure which are compacted and bent by a spinning-wheel. The dome part and the inlet part are differently formed with the thickness of the cylinder part. A forming method of the pressure container liner comprises following steps. A pre-form manufactured through a forging mold is mounted on a mandrel and is rotated. The pre-form is flow-formed in a seamless tube shape by pressing one or more forming rolls on the outer circumference of the pre-form. The step comprises adjusting vertical distance between central shafts of the forming roll and the mandrel.
