PURPOSE: An electronic fare collection using a high-pass card is provided to reduce initial cost of equipment and a settlement time by applying a high pass card collection system to a parking lot. CONSTITUTION: An electronic fare collection is composed of a high-pass management system, a parking gate, and a parking fee calculation apparatus. The parking fee calculation apparatus includes a key input unit(52), a data storage module(54), communication modules(56,58), inlet and outlet bar(64,66), a driving unit(62), and a controller(70). The controller controls transmission of settlement information, high-pass cared information, and a terminal, built in a vehicle, used for settlement to the high-pass management system.
