<p>PURPOSE: A method for storing position information is provided to store position information of a mobile terminal in a server and apply the stored position information to an application service. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal is connected to a server(300) and requests storing of position information of the mobile terminal(305). The server extracts position information of the mobile terminal from a determination server(310) and outputs the extracted position information of the mobile terminal to a user of the mobile terminal(320). If the position information of the mobile terminal is determined to be stored in a database(335), the user of the mobile terminal requests the server to store the position information of the mobile terminal in the database(340). The server stores the position information of the mobile terminal in the database(345). The server is set to be shared by logically interworking with a position-based service agent mounted in the mobile terminal, a position-based service application mounted in the server, and a position-based service application mounted in a different server which is connected to the server through a network to share a position-based service(350).</p> |
