PURPOSE: A handover environment decision method and a handover process method of a wireless terminal are provided to process new IP address acquiring process when handover condition. CONSTITUTION: A handover environment decision method and a handover process method of a wireless terminal are as follows. The wireless terminal acquires unique identifying information of a DHCP server and maintains the IP address in a memory(S31). The wireless terminal senses a handover state(S32). The unique identifying information of the DHCP server is obtained in the wireless terminal(S33). The wireless terminal compares with the unique identifying information(S34).
