PURPOSE: A feeder base clamping device for a part-mounter and a method thereof are provided to improve the reliability of a parts-mounting task by preventing the movement of a feeder base due to vibration and external force. CONSTITUTION: A feeder base(30) is arranged on the supporting frame of a docking cart. At least one feeder is installed on the feeder base. A fixing member(40) is arranged between the supporting frame and the feeder base. An effector(50) is combined in the fixing member. The effector raises and lowers the feeder base. The effector clamps a mounting frame of a part-mounter between the fixing member and the feeder base.
