The domestic dish washing machine (GS) has at least one additional control (ZE) for at least one electrical component (HZ1) at the sorption drying unit (STE), in addition to the main appliance control (HE). The additional control can be a component of the main control, or separated by a given gap (EF). The main and/or additional controls are located under the base (BO) of the appliance. The two controls are linked by a control line (DB). The additional control has a watch dog monitoring logic (WD).
