The invention provides a handheld power tool with a cutting implement, in particular a jigsaw, which has a foot plate (13) for placing onto the surface of a workpiece to be cut, with an at least partially arcuate holding bracket (15) and a clearance (14) for the cutting tool to pass through, a machine housing (11), which is displaced on the holding bracket (15) in the circumferential directional thereof and can be securely clamped thereon, and an angle setting device (16) for oblique cuts of the cutting implement by displacing the machine housing (11) on the holding bracket (15), with an angular scale (21) arranged on the holding bracket (15) along the displacing region and a marking arranged on the machine housing (11). To avoid an offset of the cutting line of the cutting implement when the machine housing (11) is tilted with respect to the holding bracket (15), the holding bracket (15) is formed as a semicircle, the centre of which lies in the foot plate (13), preferably on the underside (131) of the foot plate that is intended for resting on the surface of the workpiece. |
