The present invention relates to a method for transmitting signal at a transmission end of a multiple input multiple output system, this method comprising mapping one or more codewords to one or more layers, wherein the one or more codewords are other codewords except at least one non-transmission codeword among a maximum number of codewords, and precoding the one or more layers using a precoding matrix for a spatial multiplexing of signal transmission, wherein the precoding matrix is used for the signal transmission via the one or more layers among a maximum number of layers.
